Suspect arrested in N. Phila stabbings
PHILADELPHIA - September 2, 2011
Shortly after 3:45 p.m., an 18-year-old girl turned up at a recreation center on the 800 block of Diamond Street, suffering knife wounds to her neck and face, and bleeding profusely.
A 38-year-old woman was found nearby with a cut to her arm.
Police later learned of a 23-year-old woman that suffered stab wounds to her head and a 16-year-old girl that was stabbed in her arm.
All four victims were transported to area hospitals. The 18-year old is in critical condition and the remaining victims are listed as stable.
38-year-old Jaqueline Simms was arrested and charged with the attack.
The incident remains under investigation.
