Action News was in Wilmington this morning, as Rich Severance hooked-up a trailer, carrying a bell of remembrance to his pick-up truck.
Rich is hauling the bell to the Camp LeJeune Marine Base in North Carolina.
Being an ex-soldier, he reached out to the organizer and asked to bring it to the troops in Afghanistan.
The military thought Camp LeJeune was a safer option.
Another bell is being shipped to New York City, a third is being sent to Patterson, New Jersey.
