Fall 2011 features a lot of new looks, and these trends, put together properly, could last you for years.
Prime among them, a move toward neutral colors. Gone are the red, yellow and orange jewel tones, replaced by shades of white, gray and especially black.
About the only exception to the rule is accent stitching on some men's clothing.
You'll also find a new emphasis on texture and pattern, which you'll want to mix and match.
There's also a resurgence in fur and leather...real or faux. For men, it shows itself in durable high-top sneakers.
For women, there are must-have leather leggings which will wear well for years if you take care of them.
