Camden's new crime problem: stolen church vans

CAMDEN, N.J. - September 16, 2011

City police tell The Courier-Post of Cherry Hill that five passenger vans have been stolen and at least six broken into over the past three weeks.

All but one belonged to churches. The other belongs to a health services company.

The Rev. Barbara Farmer of Faith Tabernacle Church says her church feels violated after having one van stolen and another broken into.

Police officials wouldn't discuss a motive but say they have some leads.
