Investigators say that at about 2:30 Wednesday morning a man lost control of his car and slammed into a garage wall near the corner of 40th Street and Camden Avenue.
Neighbors say they heard a thunderous noise and ran outside to find the car wedged into the garage wall.
When police arrived they managed to free the driver who was trapped in his car.
He was not seriously injured.
The garage sustained heavy damage.
There's no word yet on the results of the driver's DUI test.
