The incident took place at 8th Street and Ferry Avenue around 4:00 p.m.
Police say a person was shot in the hand.
The suspected shooter has been apprehended.
However, a police officer was bitten by a police dog during the apprehension of the suspect.
The shooting victim and the police officer were both taken to Cooper Medical Center for treatment.
Camden police continue to investigate.
