Mrs. Fixit: Cheap Halloween Decor

October 29, 2011

Search the internet for shadow silouhettes that you can print out. These eeerie cutouts can be put in windows, on walls or on candle holders to cast a spooky shadow.

Drape furniture with plain white sheets to give a haunted house feel.

A simple can of black spray paint costs about four dollars and it's a perfect halloween hue. Grab a branch from the back yard and spray paint it black to decorate your tabletop.

A simple grapevine wreath that has passed it's prime can find new life with a coat of black paint too!!

Grab a can of frosted glass paint and use it to coat the glass in some old frames. Then add one of your silouettes behind the glass.

Lean the frames against a wall and add a battery operated candle for the perfect touch!

Add a great touch to an outdoor post lamp by carving a faux pumpkin from the craft store and encasing the lamp with it.

A great Halloween impact with very little output! I'm Mrs. Fixit and it's just that simple!
