Investigators say that a little after 2:00 on Friday morning, a man confronted the woman while she was walking along the 1700 block of Conrad Street.
Detectives say the suspect grabbed items from the victim, then shot the woman in the right arm and right leg.
The victim arrived at Christiana Emergency Room conscious and alert.
After the shooting, the gunman ran off and remains on the loose.
