The incident happened around 9:00 a.m. at Cottman Avenue and Kindred Street near the Sears Auto Center.
Police say a 54-year-old male was on his way to a coin show in Trevose when his GMC Truck suffered a flat tire.
He took his vehicle to the Sears Auto Center and went inside. When he returned to his truck, he noticed the front passenger window was broken.
A black satchel and a green rolling bag of his were missing from inside the vehicle.
The victim told police the two bags held $50,000 worth of collectible coins.
No arrests have been made.
