His costume includes a grayish trunk, stilts and a Spanish moss beard.
Spenger poses for pictures and gives kids high-fives with his long branches.
And he says there are a lot of tree huggers at the fair.
Spenger tells The Dallas Morning News he loves the fair-goers and they love him.
