Northampton County Court Administrator James Onembo tells The Morning Call of Allentown that 20-year-old Matthew Williamson will be back before a judge on Friday to be sentenced again.
Williamson had received a three- to six-month sentence last week after telling the court he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder after an 18-month tour of duty in Iraq.
But court officials say Williamson couldn't have been in Iraq when he claimed because he'd been charged with swiping his father's credit card during that time.
The Morning Call report says Williamson's father said his son might enlist in the National Guard when he requested those charges be dropped.
