It happened just after 8pm in the 6300 block of Homer Street.
Police responded to a report of a man shot in the rear of a residential driveway.
Officers arrived to find a 50-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to head.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the victim's wallet and shoes were also stolen.No word on a suspect.
