6-year-old boy stabbed in Camden
CAMDEN, N.J. - October 30, 2011
Just after 2:00 a.m., a 911 call came in of a person injured inside the Tamarac Apartments on Ferry Road.
Medics arrived to find the young boy sitting on the couch holding his pajamas to the large wound on his neck. On another couch, they found a man holding a knife to his throat.
Two other children were also discovered inside and safely removed.
Police were soon called to the scene, and arrived to find the unknown man with no clothes on.
He was taken into custody a short time later and faces numerous charges.
The victim was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
Police are still unsure what sparked the incident.
