It happened in a house on the 1000 block of West Cambria Street around 1:30 Wednesday morning.
When police arrived they found a 21-year-old man on the front porch who was shot 6 times in the chest and arm.
He was rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
Police believe he was shot inside of the home.
Investigators have not named a suspect or a motive for the shooting.
