Suspects sought in Grays Ferry robbery

GRAYS FERRY - November 4, 2011

Investigators released surveillance video of the crime, which happened back on October 27th.

It was around 11:20 a.m. when two men entered the Golden Sports store at 3005 Grays Ferry Avenue.

Armed with handguns, one suspect acted as a lookout while the second pointed a gun at an employee, demanding money.

He then took money from both the cash register and the employee's pockets.

The suspects fled the store with $500 in cash.

Police described the robbers as:

Suspect #1: Black male, 20 years old, 6' tall, thin build wearing a gray hoodie and black pants.
Suspect #2: Black male, 25 years old, 6' thin build wearing a black American Eagle hoodie and blue jeans carrying a black hand gun.
