2 critical after boom lift topples in Del.

TOWNSEND, Del. - November 10, 2011

The accident happened around 1:20 p.m. at 400 Main Street at the post office.

A Delaware State Police spokesperson says two workers were about 30 to 40 feet up, controlling the lift from inside the basket, when it fell backwards.

The two men inside, a 38-year-old and a 32-year-old, were both rushed to the hospital. The 32-year-old suffered head injuries while the 38-year-old suffered multiple fractures and internal injuries.

There was no immediate word on their identities or how this accident happened.
