Police say someone opened fire at around 6:30 p.m. at 57th Street and Willows Avenue striking an 18-year-old male.
The teen was struck multiple times in the head and body.
He was rushed by police to the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead.
Police are searching for the suspect.
