Flames broke out just past 1:00 a.m. Friday on 5th Street near Bailey Street.
Heavy fire was showing from the end of the row of houses when firefighters arrived. The fire then travelled from roof to roof, spreading among the abandoned homes.
Police are looking into whether squatters may been inside before the fire began.
No injuries have been reported.
