The incident happened at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday November 13th.
Police say the suspect approached a victim in the 7-11 store in the 2400 block of North 77th Avenue and asked him for a cigarette. The victim complied, then left the store.
As the victim arrived home he realized the suspect had followed him. The suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money. The victim gave him his cell phone and cigarettes, and the suspect fled.
Police have released a surveillance picture of the suspect, taken at the 7-11. They have also released a surveillance video. Click here to see it.
The suspect is described as 6 feet tall, 170 lbs, wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, black pants and a white baseball hat. He was carrying a gray sweatshirt.
