At approximately 3:14 a.m., police were called to a single vehicle fatal crash at Roosevelt Boulevard and Bridge Street.
Police say the vehicle was observed traveling northbound on Roosevelt Boulevard at a high rate of speed.
As the vehicle, described as a 2006 Ford F-150, approached the intersection of Bridge Street, the driver lost control of the pickup truck causing it to flip several times and strike a tree.
The 30-year-old male driver was subsequently ejected from the vehicle.
He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center by medics where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators are still unsure what caused the driver to lose control.
The victim's identity has not been released.
