Police say bar burglars got little, left clues

GLENSHAW, Pa. (AP) - December 6, 2011

Police responded when the burglars tripped an alarm at the Middle Road Inn in Indiana Township before 6 a.m. Tuesday, but discovered the crooks didn't get much for their trouble.

The men had ripped an alarm panel from the wall and smashed a cash register - which was empty. Police believe the men may have gotten about $10 by breaking into a vending machine.

To top it all off, police tell WPXI-TV the burglars left behind a "key" piece of evidence investigators say could help them identify the suspects. Police aren't saying what that evidence is, however.
