A woman called police Saturday to report a man driving a white pickup truck with flashing blue lights on the roof tried to get a woman out of her car in a Mount Pocono parking lot Saturday evening.
She said the man threatened to give her tickets when she refused. Police say the woman drove away and said the man in the truck followed her.
The woman did not pull over and instead called police. Officers have yet to find the imposter.
Police said motorists unsure if they're dealing with a real officer should drive slowly toward a well-lit and populated area, put on their flashers and call 911.
