Celebrate the 225th Anniversary of the Constitution

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- February 21, 2012

Delegates came up with a document that defined our government

.

Many amendments later, it still does, and you're invited to get to know it at the National Constitution Center. Any day between now and Constitution Day, September 17th, you may visit and sign it.

While you're there, of course, there are many exhibits explaining the Constitution, its history, and how it affects our everyday lives.

If you can't make it in person, you can go to the center's website and "sign" online .

Either way, you'll come to know more about the founders, their remarkable vision, and the framework for society they left us...still the envy of the free world in its function and completeness.

Imagine writing something that would govern things that won't exist for another two centuries. The founders were wise enough to do that.

A stop in Signers' Hall lets you meet every one of the men at that historic convention, touch life-size statues, and learn their stories.

Many also penned their names to the Declaration of Independence eleven years earlier.

The National Constitution Center is at 6th and Arch Streets in Old City Philadelphia, open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
