The accident happened just before 7:00 a.m. Monday on the northbound lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard at Broad Street.
Police say the driver lost control of the bus, sending the vehicle off the road, tipping onto its side and into a fence.
There were no students on board at the time of the crash.
The driver was transported to the hospital with head and neck injuries and is listed in stable condition.
There is no word on what led to the accident.
