PHILADELPHIA - March 29, 2012

Philadelphia Union is still looking for their first win of the season and hopes to get it Saturday against Vancouver in a game you can see here on 6abc.

Watch for Goalkeeper Zac MacMath whose skills in the net must be genetic.

Florida native, Zac MacMath may be in his first full season as the Union starting goalie, but he's feeling right at home.

And why shouldn't he? MacMath has deep Philadelphia roots. His father Gary was a star goalie at Frankford High School in Northeast Philadelphia in the late 1960s where he won two city ti before starting a family and moving to Florida.

"I grew up coming to Philly every few months coming to Phillies games and flyers games," said MacMath. "I was excited they drafted me."

Gary now comes up to Philadelphia every few months to see his 20 year old son play. And last year when the Union drafted Zac fifth overall, Dad game him some fatherly advice, thank the passionate fans, the Sons of Ben.

"It brought back a lot of memories playing ball in Philly," said Gary MacMath. "Being way for over 20 years, you never lose the passion for Philly soccer."

MacMath hopes to make the expressing, "like father, like son' become a reality. His dad won two championships in this city, and now Zac is trying to win his first with the Union.

"It would be an amazing opportunity for the city and for me personally," Zac said.

But first MacMath is trying to get them their first win of the season after a 0 and 3 start.
