Police say Edward Brodecki, 17, of Levittown was driving a 2002 Acura RSX eastbound on Emilie Road when he lost control of the car between Indian Creek Place and Golden Turn at about 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.
The car crossed over the westbound lane, ran up grass shoulder and berm, and struck a tree.
Brodecki, who was alone in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Emilie Road was closed between Indian Creek Place and Golden Turn in both directions for nearly four hours following the crash.
