The shooting happened just after 11:00 p.m. Sunday in an apartment in the 4200 block of Woodhaven Road.
Police say the 41-year-old man who was shot stumbled outside and collapsed.
Medics rushed him to the hospital where he later died.
Officers are still searching for that man's killer.
The victim in this case has not yet been identified.
