Death of man at Del. truck stop a homicide

Investigators in Delaware say the death of a man found at a truck stop in New Castle is a case of homicide.

Delaware State Police Homicide Detectives have identified the male victim as 56-year-old Ronald A. Hardy of New Castle.

The discovery was made at approximately 9:00 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Delaware Truck Plaza on South Dupont Highway.

Police say a passerby made the initial discovery and called police.

On Monday, police announced they located the vehicle belonging to Hardy.

Investigators say someone drove away in his pickup truck Saturday night.

That driver is still on the loose.
