Life in prison for men convicted in Feltonville crash

PHILADELPHIA - May 23, 2012

That was the sentence handed down Wednesday, after a jury convicted Donte Craddock and Ivan Rodriguez.

Craddock, 21, and Rodriguez, 23, were fleeing the scene of an armed robbery when Craddock lost control of his car and hit a group of people in Feltonville in June 2009.

22-year-old Latoya Smith and her daughters, six-year-old Aalyiah and one-year-old Remedy were killed, along with their neighbor, 7-year old Gina Marie Rosario.

The jury found both men guilty of second degree murder, robbery and related offenses.
