It happened at the Saint Matthews Manor senior citizen home along the 200 block of North 57th street.
Investigators say the bandits broke into an apartment about 10:30 Monday night, and made off with a safe.
Police have not said if anything was in the safe.
There are no report of any injuries
The Saint Matthews home is a low income facility with 58 units.
