The collision happened around 11:00 a.m. near Tranquility Road.Police say 20-year-old Elizabeth Hynoski was the driver of a 2003 Hyundai Elantra that was involved in the crash. She died as a result of her injuries.
The other vehicle, a Saturn, was driven by a 16-year-old female student driver from Mount Laurel, New Jersey. She was with her instructor, 39-year-old Anthony Guerrara, also of Southampton.
The 16-year-old and instructor are in critical but stable condition at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
Route 70 was closed in the area between Burrs Mill Road and Mile Road.
