Flames force man from North Philadelphia home

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - July 11, 2012

The fire broke out around 1:45 a.m. on the 2800 block of North 20th Street.

Fire officials arrived about two minutes after the initial call and found a two-story home that appeared to be occupied with fire showing on the first floor.

The elderly man's home and three other houses were damaged, but no one was hurt. The Red Cross was called in to assist the man who was displaced due to the fire.

Crews are on the scene trying to determine what caused the fire.
