It happened around 1:15 Sunday afternoon on the 200 block of South Jackson Street.
Upon arrival officers found a man in his 20s with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
He was taken to Christiana Hospital in critical but stable condition.
No motives or suspects have been named.
