Police seek NJ jewelry store robbers

BENSALEM, Pa. - August 1, 2012

The robbery happened around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton Jewelers at the corner of Texas Avenue and Brunswick Pike in Lawrence Township, Mercer County.

Officials say the men were wearing masks during the robbery.

They smashed several display cases and stole an unknown amount of high end watches.

Meanwhile, police are looking into the possibility that the suspects crashed into a stopped car a short time later on I-95 in Bensalem.

The vehicle that was hit was pulled off the road in the southbound lanes near the Woodhaven exit.

Several people in the broken down car were hurt.

The suspects fled the scene on foot.
