3 plead in 2009 murder of Darby teenager

MEDIA, Pa. (AP) - August 1, 2012

Twenty-five-year-old Mike Pinkney, 20-year-old Ali Hall and 22-year-old Kalif Ivey were slated for trial when they entered guilty pleas Tuesday in Delaware County Court in the July 2009 slaying of 17-year-old Ollie Cloyd of Darby.

The Delaware County Daily Times says Pinkney and Hall were sentenced to 12 to 24 years in prison, and the judge rejected a bid to make the terms run at the same time as current burglary and robbery sentences they are serving in Philadelphia. Ivey was sentenced to 20 years

Authorities said Cloyd was a random robbery target who was shot to death as he fled his assailants.
