State police say the accident happened around 4 a.m. Monday near the Fogelsville exit in Upper Macungie Township. There has been no word on injuries.
Investigators say one of the trucks was carrying steel and the other had general merchandise. It wasn't immediately clear what caused the crash.
The accident had shut down part of the eastbound lanes early Monday, but witnesses say traffic is beginning to get by. Delays continue.
