Man shocked on SEPTA train, critically injured

One person has been critically injured on a SEPTA train at the Delaware Valley commuter station in Doylestown Friday night.

It happened in the 100 block of West Ashland Street around 10:00 p.m.

Authorities say the victim suffered an electric shock while coming into contact with overhead wires, and may have been on top of a train at the time.

The victim was airlifted to Temple University hospital.

Train service into and out of Doylestown has been suspended while police investigate.
