Water woes at VA Medical Center in Coatesville

COATESVILLE, Pa. - August 16, 2012

The incident happened around 1:30 p.m. while crews worked on the grounds of the Veterans Administration's Coatesville campus causing a water main break.

Crews worked for over an hour to shut off the water, resulting in service to at least two of the 40 buildings being shut off.

Officials say one building is an in-patient facility, the other an out-patient building. Both are working with water from back up systems.

Patient services were not interrupted, and no evacuations were made.

Water service is expected to be restored in the next 8 hours.
