Chopper 6 HD was over the Mopac plant in Franconia Township late Saturday afternoon.
It is a plant that converts waste from meat packing houses and cooking grease into a variety of products like soap and fertilizer.
The fire broke out on the roof of the plant around 4:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Souder Road.
A second alarm was rung and firefighters had the upper hand about an hour later.
No injuries were reported.
