Firefighters were called out to the Trio Tavern in the 3800 block of South Black Horse Pike in Williamstown, N.J. just before 9:30 p.m.
Crews arrived to find the deck on fire and flames quickly spreading to the tavern.
The fire was brought under control without injuries.
The restaurant was closed at the time of the fire; the cause remains under investigation.
