More than 130 cars were towed from a campus lot on move-in day at the University of Massachusetts.
Students were confronted with a $40 parking ticket and 105 bucks in towing fees.
Now, university officials say they'll pick up the tab for the towing and the parking tickets will be waived.
The school says not everyone got the word about a change in parking regs for move-in day Monday.
The snafu is costing the university about $15,000.
In an email to students, school officials say they're sorry for the "confusion and inconvenience."
