The crash happened at 9:45 a.m. on Route 202 (Dekalb Pike) near Cherry Lane in Whitpain Township.
Police say a silver Honda Accord, driven by 76-year old Phillip Gardocki, collided head-on with a brown Jeep Cherokee operated by 23-year-old Brian Kiester.
Route 202 was closed between Skippack Pike and Jolly Road while police investigated, but was reopened shortly after noon.Phillip Gardocki was transported to the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in serious condition. Kiester was taken to Paoli where he is also listed in serious condition.
