It happened just before 6:00 p.m. in the 2600 block of North Lawrence Street.
Police say two women were shot in some kind of domestic incident.
One woman was shot four times and is listed in critical condition at Temple University Hospital.
Police say a 29-year-old woman was shot in the hand and was transported to Temple where she is listed in stable condition.
Police are looking for a red or burgundy Ford Explorer that fled the scene.
