Police release photo of bank robbery suspect

PHILADELPHIA - October 14, 2012

Police say the robber entered the Republic Bank at 1601 Market Street in Philadelphia on Friday, October 12, 2012 around 11:00 am and threatened the teller saying he had a gun.

He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

He is described as a white or Hispanic male in his mid 30's or early 40's, around 5'6" to 5'7" tall, stocky build, with bad skin and a receding hairline. He was last seen wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Police believe that he is armed and dangerous.
