It happened Sunday night at the Exxon on the 800 block of South College Avenue.
Authorities say the suspect walked into the station, pulled out a semi-automatic handgun from under his shirt and demanded money.
The 33-year-old clerk opened the register and the suspect stuffed his pocked with wads of cash.
The gun toting bandit jumped into a car waiting outside and sped off.
