Police: Man killed in South Philadelphia over argument

Police say a man who was found dead in the street in South Philadelphia was killed after an argument Saturday morning.

Officials say gunfire rang out around 7:00 a.m. on the 1900 block of Mifflin Street.

Police officers and medics arrived to the scene to find 40-year-old Willie Scott lying on the sidewalk. He was shot multiple times in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they are interviewing a person who may have witnessed the shooting.

Investigators say Scott was killed after an argument.

However, there have been no arrests and no word on a suspect in this case.
