The accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Avenue and South New York Avenue.
Police tell us that the officers were going after a 17-year-old suspect who they thought may be linked to car burglaries.
When they exited their patrol car to pursue the teen on foot, we're told another patrol car clipped the officers.
One officer went airborne after being hit. Fortunately, both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries
The teen was arrested.
