One person was transported to the hospital in critical condition after shots were fired in an office building in Los Angeles' Koreatown neighborhood on Thursday afternoon.

The shooting happened on the fourth floor of the high-rise building just after 4 p.m. The victim, described as an Asian male of unknown age, was shot multiple times.

One person was taken into custody. Police believe the suspect may have been a former office employee. There were no other victims in the shooting and police were not searching for other suspects.
