Fifty-four-year-old Warren Pennick is being held without bail on charges of first- and third-degree murder in the killing of his 79-year-old mother in their Lansdale home on Wednesday morning.
Investigators say Pennick stabbed his mother, Lorraine, multiple times and slashed her throat before leaving the 7-inch knife on her chest, changing clothes and going to police.
Court records do not list an attorney for Pennick.
