It happened on October 20th at 12:35 p.m.
Police say a 24-year-old woman was walking in the 1700 block of South 15th Street when a man grabbed her from behind and pushed her to the ground.
He took her purse, which contained $25 in cash, ID's and credit cards, and fled south on 15th Street, then west on Moore Street.
Police have released the following description of the suspect:
Black male, 18-25 years-of-age, 5'8", thin build, medium complexion. He was wearing a black jacket with a red hooded sweatshirt underneath, black pants and dark colored shoes.
